Arts and community in rural Northern California
This is a land of cattle and republicans, where many things are not the norm, like the arts. But despite the older ways, an art community has blossomed.
I am a nearly life-long resident of rural Northern California. I work with youth in my day job and create art in my spare time. I generally create paintings of flowers and musical instruments, though I also create Hawaiiana inspired pieces. I create mostly in acrylics and prisma color pencils. My second home is on the Big Island of Hawaii.
If there are product photos or logos in my blog, chances are I borrowed them from the company's website. Usually, I have linked them to said website, so click away to make up your own mind about stuff I blog about.
If you own a website that I blog about, feel free to link to me--I would be flattered!
